Barry Greenstein's Debt to Full Tilt

Barry Greenstein has just issued a statement regarding his $400k debt, stating that he will pay back this money but wishes it to be used in full to pay back players who have money held on Full Tilt currently. Norman Chad, ESPN’s well known poker commentator, has got on the wrong side of a judge by tweeting during a trial from the jury box.  He was dismissed from the case but ordered back to a contemp hearing, at which he apologised and escaped with a slap on the wrist  

 

A large number of the FTP pros owe money to the site and are refusing to pay.  The list includes: Phil Ivey, Layne Flack, David Benyamine, and Erik Lindgren. It turns out that WSOP was being a little bit cheeky – the November Nine has not been cancelled as such, but only moved to late October, to avoid clashes with the Presidential elections!

 

Quite a few changes this year for the World Series of Poker Main event.  Check out the official twitter or read check out the main changes below: Main Event is three days shorter 470 poker tables – almost 100 more than last year No November Nine! Play stats at 12 noon and finishes 12:20am No off day during the main event So the big change appears to be no November Nine!  There will be a lot of mixed feeling about that one…

 
Daniel Negreanu hacked account update

Daniel made a post on online forum TwoplusTwo about his account being hacked.  He seems quite miffed about people not believing he was hacked… I was on an airplane home while this guy was joyriding my Stars account. It appears that KidPoker has had his Pokerstars account hacked. Alan Meltzer, a self-made millionaire and regular on High Stakes Poker, has left around 15% of his $10m estate to his doorman (who receives $500k) and chauffeur (who receives $1m). Meltzer, who died last October for reasons as yet not disclosed, added the two to his will in recognition of the years of assistance and support they provided for him. What a guy!
